From classroom wish list to funded grant, with your district along for the climb.
Free for K-12 teachers. District grant offices get a clear view of classroom needs, an intake queue, approvals and federal and state grant tools.
How it works
Step 1
Describe your idea
Tell us what you want to do for your students — in plain words.
Step 2
Get matched
We find federal, Indiana and foundation grants you can apply for, and ones your district should.
Step 3
Draft with help
An AI writing coach drafts with you, follows each funder's AI rules and keeps a disclosure log.
Step 4
Propose to your district
Send a one-page proposal to your grant office. You'll see when it's read, approved or funded.
Grant Sherpa never submits applications for you and never asks for student information. You export DOCX or PDF and submit through Grants.gov, the state's system or the funder's portal.
District plans
Start with the free district view (teacher demand totals). Try everything free for 90 days. Annual plans are invoiced, accept purchase orders, and never renew automatically.

One small grant pays for years of Grant Sherpa.
Plans run $250–$500 a year. A single approved classroom grant typically covers that, often several years over. For example, the Toshiba America Foundation's K–5 classroom grants go up to $1,000, and its grades 6–12 grants and the NEA Foundation's Student Success grants go up to $5,000; all three are in our catalog.
Amounts are each funder's published maximum. Grant awards aren't guaranteed: Grant Sherpa helps you find, plan and draft applications, and funders make the decisions.
